The George Bush Presidential Library Foundation will host a lecture by Celia Sandys, granddaughter of Sir Winston Churchill, on Thursday, October 24 at 6:00 p.m. in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center as part of the William Waldo Cameron Forum on Public Affairs. The presentation, titled “Memories of My Grandfather, Winston Churchill," will draw on her vast and intimate knowledge of Winston Churchill’s personal and political life.

Celia has published five books on various aspects of Winston Churchill’s life. These books combine intensive historical research with personal anecdotes recalled from the time she spent with him in England and abroad.Texas A&M University Press has just released new editions of two of Sandys’ books: Churchill Wanted Dead or Alive and From Winston, With Love and Kisses. Those books will be available for purchase after the lecture and may also be ordered online at tamupress.com.
