The George Bush Presidential Library Foundation currently hires interns for three separate internship programs.  Students with a 3.0 overall GPR should submit a cover letter, resume, and two letters of recommendation to the Foundation at any time throughout the year.  As this is a highly competitive internship, interns are reevaluated each semester before new candidates are accepted.

  • The first internship is a year-round program in the Foundation office for six Texas A&M University students.  Interns are expected to work 20 hours each week in this paid position and complete a variety of duties not limited to responding to donor inquiries, assisting with accounting, and staffing events.
  • The second internship is an unpaid position with the Office of George Bush (OGB) in Houston, Texas.  Two Texas A&M University students are hired to work one day a week for at least four hours that day.  OGB interns have the unique opportunity to interact directly with the President's staff while completing a wide variety of administrative duties.
  • The last internship opportunity is with the George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.  Texas A&M University students are hired to fill positions in the marketing, collections, education, and event's departments.  These positions are also year-round and are paid.
