Chase Untermeyer
Chase Untermeyer is U.S. Vice Chairman of Strategic Real Estate Advisors, a London-based international real estate investment firm.  Mr. Untermeyer joined the firm after serving three years as United States Ambassador to the State of Qatar on appointment of President George W. Bush.  He has served at all four levels of government – local, state, national, and international – over a period of more than 30 years, with work in journalism, academia, and business as well.  A graduate of Harvard College, he served as an officer in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.  His public service career began with his election to the Texas House of Representatives and includes positions as Executive Assistant to then-Vice President George Bush, Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Manpower & Reserve Affairs under President Reagan, and Director of Presidential Personnel and Director of the Voice of America under President George Bush.  He has also served as Director of Public Affairs for Compaq Computer Corporation and Vice President for Government Affairs at the University of Texas Health Science Center.  In part-time public service, Mr. Untermeyer has been a commissioner of the Port of Houston and chairman of the State Board of Education.

Diana Untermeyer
During the family’s time in Qatar, Diana Untermeyer was active with women’s and children’s programs and in the conservation, arts, and health communities.  Prior to that, Diana served as the Director of Communications for Christ Church Cathedral, Houston, in the Episcopal Diocese of Texas.  Dedicated to community involvement, Diana has also served on the boards of the Houston Zoo, Zoo Friends of Houston, Inc., the Hermann Park Conservancy and is active at St. John’s School.  She graduated from the University of Virginia and subsequently worked as a wilderness guide, a liaison between the Vice President’s office and the Presidential Task Force on Regulatory Relief, and later as Executive Assistant to the Counsel to President George Bush.
