Eileen Collins
Colonel Eileen Collins served in the United States Air Force until her retirement in 2005. She was selected by NASA in January 1990 and became an astronaut in 1991.

Colonel Colllins served as pilot on STS-63 and STS-84 and was the commander on STS-93 and STS-114 -- the first woman to pilot and command a shuttle mission. A veteran of four space flights, Colonel Collins has logged over 872 hours in space.

She retired from NASA in May 2006 to spend more time with her family and pursue other interests.


Chris Evert
Chris Evert is a former World No. 1 professional women's tennis player. During her career, she won 18 Grand Slam singles titles, including a record 7 at the French Open. She also won 3 Grand Slam doubles titles.

Ms. Evert turned pro on December 21, 1972. In 1974, she won 55 straight matches, a record that held up for more the 10 years. She was ranked No. 1 in the world for seven years and has a .904 win average spanning her 17-year career as a pro. She won at least one Grand Slam singles title for 13 consecutive years, a record for men's and women's tennis. She was appointed by President George Bush to serve as a Board Member of the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports.

Evert's career win-loss record in singles matches of 1,309-146 (.904) is the best of any professional player in tennis history.


Teri Hatcher
Teri Hatcher studied acting at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco while taking a degree course in mathematics and engineering at De Anza College.

Ms Hatcher went to Hollywood in 1977 and has played roles on The Love Boat, MacGyver, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, Cabaret, and Desperate Housewives for which she won both a Golden Globe for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series and the SAG Award for Female Actor in a Comedy Series.


Harriet Miers
Harriet Miers served as Counsel to the President from 2005 to 2007. She also served as Assistant to the President and Deputy Chief of Staff. Before joining President George W. Bush's staff, Ms. Miers was Co-Managing Partner at Locke Liddell & Sapp, LLP.

Ms. Miers was chair of the Texas Lottery Commission; and in 1992, Ms. Miers became the first woman president of the Texas State Bar.
