George P. Bush
George Prescott Bush currently serves as Vice President of Acquisitions, Divestitures and Infill Land Development for Charter Holdings, a Dallas-based real estate investment partnership. Previous to joining Charter, Mr. Bush practiced corporate law in the Dallas office of Akin, Gump. Strauss, Hauer & Feld, the nation's 10th largest law firm. Prior to Akin Gump, he clerked for the Honorable Sidney A. Fitzwater, a U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Texas.
George P. received his undergraduate degree from Rice University and obtained his Juris Doctorate from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin. In 2000 and 2004, he campaigned as a surrogate speaker on behalf of his Uncle, President George W. Bush and remains active in Republican Party politics including serving as a Hispanic Adivsory Board Member for the Republican National Committee. Mr. Bush serves his community as a member of the Board of Directors of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Fort Worth, Co-Chairman for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dallas-Fort Worth, member of the Dallas Citizens Council and a member of the Board of Directors for Southern Methodist University's 21st Century Council.
